After washing your favorite T-shirt, you can easily ruin it by ironing it incorrectly, leaving a mark from the iron.

Among the many pieces of advice, housewives choose the most effective and most accessible, i.e. when you don’t have to buy anything extra, but use what you have in the bathroom or kitchen.

There are many ways to remove an iron stain from a light-colored fabric. The most common ones are lemon juice or baking soda, milk, onion, and salt.

Soda

Let's start with baking soda - everyone has it. It will help remove stains from silk clothes, for which you will have to mix baking soda with a small amount of soda until it becomes a paste. This paste is used to treat the stain, after which it is washed off with water.

Onion

Another interesting method. Peel the onion, cut it into two halves and apply the cut side to the stain. Alternatively, grind the onion on a fine grater and treat the stain with this mass or squeezed juice. But you will have to wait at least 2-3 hours for the result, after which you wash and dry the item again.

Milk

In this case, you can't do without washing either. The stain or the entire item is soaked in milk, then rinsed. A water solution of kefir (1:1) works in a similar way. The item is also soaked for several hours, then washed.

Lemon

Mix fresh lemon juice with water 1:1, apply this solution to the stain for 15 minutes, then wash the item.

Salt

This is also a fairly simple and effective option. Sprinkle salt on a damp, stained cloth and leave for 15 minutes, then wash the clothes.
