When you buy home-made eggs or find a supply of products with a “cloudy” production date in the refrigerator, you can always check their suitability for consumption.
There are no complications with dairy, meat and other food products in this regard. But eggs are a delicate matter.
We will tell you about a method that will allow you to accurately determine the freshness of chicken eggs.
If the marking on the shell has worn off or simply wasn't there, then you shouldn't put stale eggs in the frying pan or bake them. It's quite possible that they should have been thrown out a long time ago. This can ruin the food and undermine your health.
Useful and dietary properties are preserved only in eggs that have been stored for seven days since hatching. Then in the refrigerator they remain edible for 3-4 weeks, and if stored longer, then food turns into a roulette, at stake is health.
Take a deep and wide bowl, fill it with cold water and select the eggs you want to test. Put them in the water one by one and watch the eggs' behavior.
If the egg sinks to the bottom and lies horizontally, then it is a fresh product.
If the bottom is raised at an angle or does not touch the bottom, then the egg is edible, but it cannot be called fresh. You cannot eat it raw or soft-boiled. Another option is to boil it hard.
And if the egg ends up on the surface, it’s better to throw it away immediately.
