An American dentist has become so committed to the prevention of oral diseases that he has become a world record holder.

Dentist Val Kolpakov is the first owner of the world's largest collection of toothpaste tubes.

Val became interested in collecting toothpaste in 2001, and at the time of registering the record he already had 2037 tubes.

At the beginning of his journey, he did not intend to set any records, but acted purely in the interests of the profession.

As the dentist admitted, he wanted to learn as much as possible about the types of toothpaste that exist in the world.

Unexpectedly, professional interest grew into an exciting hobby and led the doctor to a world record.

Currently, it boasts the presence of paste with the taste of wasabi, rye ears, and whiskey.

His collection includes tubes that are over 70 years old.

This is how the specialist was able to find out that toothpaste manufacturers in the 1950s added 3% alcohol to the product.

He is still searching for new examples, collecting modern products, for example, with charcoal.
