Domestic cats surprise their owners with their loyalty. An incident that occurred in the USA serves as confirmation that these animals are capable of much, if only to return home.
A cat named Rain Bo traveled 1,448 kilometers to find the warmth and comfort of his home again. He had only 300 kilometers left to reach his home.
An American family from California went on vacation to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, taking their pet cat with them, APNews reports.
Having successfully survived the journey, and for reasons still unclear, the cat Rain Bo decided to leave his family and did not make any contact for two months.
The owners did not give up hope of finding their pet, but alas, they returned home orphaned with a feeling of deep sorrow in their hearts due to the irreparable loss.
But after almost eight months (in August of the same year) they were forced to believe in a miracle.
They were contacted by animal control officials and informed that their cat, Rain Bo, had been found in Roseville, California.
A resident of the town caught him on the street and rushed to hand the poor fellow over to a shelter.
Having covered 1,448 kilometers, the four-legged creature did not make it home for some 300 km.
During the journey he had lost a considerable amount of weight, and his general condition was terrible.
The couple rushed to pick up the pet and share their story on social media.
And after a happy reunion with his family, the cat acquired a GPS tracker.
