What Homemade Food Can You Feed Your Cat: 5 Ideal Options - Remember Them

Many cat owners do not want to feed their pets only dry food.

They believe that fluffy animals should be fed homemade food.

This approach is quite acceptable. But it is important to understand that not all food products consumed by people are suitable for cats.

There is a striking example: it turns out that adult cats cannot be given milk to drink.

Contrary to popular belief, this drink can harm your pet.

So what foods can you give your cat? There are 5 ideal options:

Meat

Cats love meat. But don't rush to give your four-legged friend pork or lamb.

Trying to feed your furry friend fried meat would also be a huge mistake.

Good options include beef, poultry and rabbit.

It is desirable for the animal to eat these products raw. But in this case, the meat must undergo preliminary 72-hour freezing.

If you don’t want to give your cat raw meat, boil the product or simply pour boiling water over it.

Fish

Once a week you can feed your cat fish.

But there are two important nuances. Firstly, river fish will not do: only sea fish! Secondly, it is desirable that it be boneless.

Egg yolk

This food will bring great benefits to your cat.

Boil a chicken egg, separate the yolk from the white and place the yellow part of the egg in a bowl.

If you have boiled a quail egg, you can give it to your pet whole, including the white.

Cereals

The cat can be fed rice and buckwheat porridge.

But don’t overfeed your cat: two teaspoons of cooked cereal will be enough for him.

Vegetables

Carrots are tasty and healthy food for cats. Cucumber is another good option.
