Dogs are very interesting creatures.
On the one hand, they need stability and predictability. Living on a schedule is a guarantee of protecting the pet from severe stress.
On the other hand, our four-legged friends need to receive new information and explore unfamiliar territories.
That's why dog owners are at a loss: they don't understand how to properly walk their animals.
At first glance, it is worth choosing only one route so as not to “overload” the pet and make its life understandable and predictable.
The problem is that with this approach the animal will not be able to learn about the world around it!
Both those who advocate constant walking in the same place and those who create a new route for absolutely every walk with their four-legged friend are mistaken.
You need to act like this: first, walk in the same place, while monitoring the pet’s behavior.
If the dog constantly sniffs something during a walk, then there is no need to change the route yet.
As soon as you notice your pet’s indifference and unwillingness to “explore” the territory (since it has already been explored), you need to choose another place for walks.
In other words, don't change routes too often. Do it only when necessary.
