Experts have identified several breeds of cats that live the longest. But we should not forget that not everything depends on the breed.
On average, cats live from 12 to 15 years, but these breeds, according to experts, will delight their owners much longer.
1. Sphinx and Pallas's cat
There are known cases when representatives of this breed lived up to 20 years and a little more.
2. Maine Coon and Savannah
The former grow quite large, while the latter are distinguished by excellent health. The lifespan of individuals is from 15 to 20 years.
3. Siamese cat
There are known cases where representatives of this breed lived up to 20 years.
4. The British and the Persians
Compared to its predecessors, this breed is almost not distinguished by longevity. However, 10-15 years of life is their minimum.
But the most important thing in this matter is not relying on genetics and natural qualities, but proper care and timely treatment of pets.
