Before choosing a four-legged friend for your dacha, you should first decide in what capacity the dog will live with you.
Possible options include a companion, guard, nanny, hunter, or simply a beloved family member.
Guard dog
Rottweiler, Doberman, German or Belgian Shepherd are suitable for this purpose. They are very trainable, but you should not stop training and forget to visit the instructor and training grounds from time to time.
Companion dog
The French bulldog, chihuahua and toy terrier have proven themselves excellent in this capacity - small dogs are suitable for life in an apartment, and they are ready to sit quietly in the train on the way to the dacha.
