What to Answer to Whiners: One Phrase for All Occasions
It seems that if you complain to the ears on duty about injustice and everyday difficulties, it will somehow become easier.
Unless it's a psychologist you pay money to, finding such a simpleton is not as easy as it seems. Most successful people value their time to listen to other people's whining.
If suddenly there is just such a whiner in your circle, then remember one simple phrase that will put the person in his place.

Socrates' Rule
Everyone has heard about this sage, whose sayings have outlived him many times over.
Some of the instructions also apply to the ubiquitous complainers.
So, if at work or on the road a fellow traveler falls on your head with complaints about life, then answer him with the words of Socrates.
You don't have to quote, just ask: if the situation the other person is talking about could have been avoided, then why are they complaining to you?
And if the trouble was inevitable, then what is the point of complaining if everything that was supposed to happen has happened?
The essence of the saying is that complaining about life does not bring any benefit, and difficulties can only be overcome by an effort of will.
