It can be very difficult to control fits of anger, and this destroys a person from the inside.
This leads to problems in relationships with loved ones, friends, work colleagues, but even more dangerous are health problems.
There are several techniques that will help you tame your internal aggression. Here is one of them.
To begin with, simply learn to analyze your emotions and identify the signs of a brewing outburst of anger.
Once you have determined this point, you can take control of the situation.
1. Stop thinking about what irritates you. This only adds fuel to the fire.
This can only be done by letting go of the situation, switching all your attention to what gives you positive emotions.
2. After practicing a little, try the next step.
This will require a radical change in the way we think.
So, instead of getting mad because of the obsessive thought that “everything is lost,” tell yourself that “it’s not the end of the world.”
You will also have to review your vocabulary and temporarily remove from it the words “never,” “always,” and the like.
3. It will be even more difficult later, because you will have to use logic. Remember that anger and aggression are unproductive, and no one is going to destroy you.
The last point is the most pleasant. You will need to relax by doing breathing exercises or listening to light music.
At the same time, work on yourself, improve your communication skills, avoid anything that can make you irritable and think about the good more often.
