Many people know about the existence of "owls" and "larks".

In this case, we are not talking about birds at all. We are talking about human chronotypes.

"Larks" are people who are most active in the morning, while "owls" are those who are most productive in the evening hours.

It is widely believed that there are only two of the above-mentioned chronotypes.

In fact, there is a third type that few people know about. We are talking about "pigeons".

Let's look at the characteristics of each chronotype.

Who are the "larks"?

"Larks" are people who are used to getting up early (around 5-6 am).

Waking up is easy for them. In the morning they feel quite cheerful.

The peak activity of "larks" occurs in the first half of the day.

Such people rarely go to bed after ten in the evening. They usually start feeling sleepy at 8-9 in the evening.

Who are the "owls"?

This is the name given to people who have difficulty getting up early in the morning. They feel more comfortable waking up at 8-10 am.

Night owls demonstrate their greatest efficiency in the second half of the day.

And they start preparing for sleep very late in the evening or even after midnight.

Who are the "doves"?

And this is an intermediate chronotype. It is most convenient for “doves” to wake up between 06:00 and 08:00.

During the day, such people have two peaks of activity. The first is from 10:00 to 12:00. The second is from 16:00 to 18:00.

"Doves" prefer to go to bed after 10:00 pm, but not later than midnight.

Previously, experts told us about the misconceptions and attitudes that prevent people from getting rich.
