What kind of men do women like: scientists have found out
To find out what quality women find most attractive in men, the University of Göttingen conducted a survey among 68,000 participants.
As a result, it turned out that representatives of the fairer sex are attracted to male kindness.
The ladies were also assured that it was important to them that their companion was responsive, had good intelligence and was self-confident, while material well-being turned out to be less significant.
Another study, much smaller in scale – only 2,000 participants from Poland, Finland and the UK – found that women prefer guys with narcissistic and even psychopathic traits.
In addition, the study found that women were also attracted to self-confidence and excessive swagger.
It can be assumed that such results were obtained because the study was based on women's perception of appearance alone: the participants chose attractive men based on photographs.
Scientists from Australia also came to the conclusion that appearance is important.
They asked 160 single women to rate photographs of men, and they were more likely to pay attention to tall, muscular athletes.
