Some people lack romance in their everyday lives, while others, on the contrary, see shortcomings in romantic relationships.
Moreover, both men and women see the shortcomings in relationships equally well.
Research on this topic was conducted by employees of the University of Nicosia in Cyprus.
The results of the work were published in the scientific journal Evolutionary Psychological Science.
To take part in the experiment, the researchers recruited 727 volunteers who were asked to answer questions about the advantages and disadvantages of romantic relationships.
This way we managed to identify 94 minuses.
A separate group of volunteers were then asked to rate them on a severity scale.
Next, the shortcomings were grouped into several areas.
