It may seem strange, but knowing how to argue properly is the key to a long and happy relationship.

The fact is that conflicts are inevitable even in strong couples.

And if the quarrel goes “according to the desired scenario,” then the lovers will make peace.

But if the conflict situation is accompanied by a large number of mistakes on the part of the man and woman, then separation is just around the corner.

So, what exactly should you not do during an argument with your partner?

Criticize the person himself, not his actions

There is no need to accuse your loved one of weakness, indecision, arrogance, impudence, forgetfulness, stupidity.

Don't tell your partner: "We're having a problem because you're weak/stupid/arrogant."

It is better to say: “This action was stupid”, “This action was strange”, etc.

Shifting the blame

Don't blame your partner for your own mistakes, even if you are sure that your loved one really provoked you or did not help in a particular situation.

The following phrases pose a huge danger to relationships: “I was late because of you,” “I broke the vase because you put it in the wrong place,” and similar remarks.

Insulting a partner

Even when criticizing a person, try to maintain respect for him. Insults are unacceptable.

Not hearing your partner

During a quarrel, always try to understand the situation. Do not ignore your partner's arguments.

Perhaps this approach will help prevent a serious conflict with subsequent separation.
