How to save a violet that is dying from improper watering: there is a way

Sometimes mistakes in caring for violets lead to the flower starting to wither.

Therefore, if you notice signs of poor health in your Saintpaulia, immediately begin to resuscitate it.

Of course, you should act taking into account the reason that led the plant to its deplorable state.

Incorrect watering

If you constantly flood the plant with water, sooner or later it will die. Don't want to let it die? Cut off the entire root system, and then root it. Any method is suitable for this - in water, soil, moss, etc.

Once the roots reach 1.5 cm in length, you can begin planting the violet in its permanent “place of residence”.

Sunburn

The sun does not harm the roots, so you will have to trim the affected leaves. The cuts are treated with charcoal. Wait for the stepchildren to appear and root the babies, using separate containers for this.

Cold temperatures

To save a frozen flower, you will have to remove the affected leaves. As in the previous case, treat the cuts by dusting them with activated carbon.

Be sure to check the violet roots - those that are dead need to be cut off. If the frost has destroyed the entire root system, the plant will need to be rooted again.
