There are several effective ways to get rid of clover on your lawn. The most popular (but far from the most effective) is regular weeding.
When digging up plants, they must be removed along with the roots, preferably without damaging them.
After the procedure, you need to level the soil thoroughly and, if possible, sow empty areas with seeds of special lawn grasses.
Another method involves adding nitrogen-containing fertilizers to the soil.
However, before using it, it is necessary to measure the level of this substance in the soil each time.
This manipulation will allow you to more accurately calculate the volume and concentration of fertilizers.
Not long ago, another method of weed control appeared – treating plants with special chemicals – herbicides.
Of course, it cannot be called easy and safe, but in terms of effectiveness it has no equal.
Many gardeners, fighting clover, try to mow it down. But this is a big mistake.
This procedure only stimulates the growth of plants and does not help to get rid of them at all.
