The simplest and most harmless way to explain falling flowers or pepper ovaries is to get rid of something that simply cannot ripen normally.
We can say that in this case the plant itself decides everything. But the phenomenon cannot be widespread.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer, explained why peppers shed their flowers.
1. This can happen if the pepper's side shoots are not removed. Also, in some cases, the "crown" flowers that appear on the fork of the shoot are removed.
2. Incorrect watering of peppers – drought and over-watering – can also ruin your harvest plans.
Normally, watering is carried out 1-2 times every 7 days, pouring up to 15-20 liters of settled water per 1 sq. m of the garden bed.
3. The next reason is unbalanced fertilizing. This may be a lack of nutrients or an excess of them (for example, nitrogen).
It is recommended to use complex fertilizers and adhere to the feeding schedule.
4. If you do not take preventive measures and do not inspect your plantings in a timely manner, you may miss the first signs of disease or pest infestation.
You need to react not only to the spots, but also to the changed shape of the leaf.
Earlier we told you what to do with your garden beds to get rid of weeds in no time.
