How to fight
1. As soon as the snow melts, the young offspring will begin to hatch from the clutch.
Therefore, you need to start with cleaning the area. Pests overwinter under last year's leaves, construction waste and weeds.
It is better to burn the collected garbage.
2. Then, traps for parasites should be placed in the vegetable garden and in the orchard.
They are made from boards, oilcloth, plywood and other dense materials, which are spread or laid on damp ground.
You need to place containers with kvass or kefir under them as bait.
Once a day or two, you need to inspect the traps to collect and destroy pests.
The easiest way to collect them is in a bucket of salt water.
You can continue the fight until there are a minimum number of slugs in the traps.
Is it possible to get rid of it completely?
But it is important to remember that even this method does not guarantee complete victory over parasites.
They can crawl in from neighboring areas, so you need to maintain order and carry out preventive measures.
