Many summer residents grow cucumbers in greenhouses.

This method guarantees ideal conditions for the plant: the crop is protected from low temperatures and other adverse weather conditions.

However, problems can still arise. Cucumber bushes can be seriously damaged if a heated building is not properly ventilated.

An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what kind of mistake often leads to the loss of the cucumber harvest.

How not to ventilate a greenhouse

If cucumbers are grown in a heated greenhouse, ventilation should not be carried out in such a way that a draft appears.

The fact is that the popular garden crop does not “react” well to such an air flow.

If you do not want to allow a serious drop in cucumber yields, then it is advisable to ventilate the greenhouse without creating a draft.

To do this, you need to leave only the window open, not the doors.

Earlier, gardeners were told how not to use eggshells in the garden.
