Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" - a scientist, agronomist and landscape designer, told about a mistake that is guessed at the very last moment.
There will be no harvest
Beginning gardeners may notice that experienced gardeners have flowers growing not only in flower beds, but wherever there is free space.
Due to inexperience, this can be called a lack of imagination or understanding of landscape design.
The answer is simple: if you want your vegetable crops to bear fruit, plant as many flowers as possible to attract bees to the area.
Bees and other pollinators are essential if crops are not self-pollinating.
It is not necessary to plant roses or tulips in the garden. It is best to plant calendula, nasturtium, lavender and other flowers that bees like.
By the way, lavender and calendula are used in folk medicine and also repel many insect pests.
You can do without them, but then you will have to pollinate the plants yourself.
