Modern marketers can sell a Christmas tree in a pot, and quite a lot of buyers choose this option for the New Year.
But the question arises whether it is possible to preserve a Christmas tree for a long time until spring, and then even transplant it to a new site.
Some summer residents on the Internet support this strategy.
But we suggest that we look into the main myths and, if they are incorrect, refute them.
How long does a Christmas tree live in a pot?
Here are some myths.
- If you maintain the temperature at 20 degrees, the tree will be ready for transplantation. In fact, the temperature should not exceed 10 degrees.
- Regular watering will save the tree. One watering may not save the soil from drying out – it is important to remove air flows.
- Spraying saves from dryness. Spraying is important, but you also need to monitor the air humidity.
- The importance of feeding. Unfortunately, if you do not follow the rules described above, feeding will not help.
