There is no need to replant strawberries to a new location every three to four years.
It is quite easy to rejuvenate the strawberry plant. How to do this, says the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
After the first frost, you just need to cut the strawberry bushes with a bayonet shovel or a sharp sickle-shaped hoe.
In this case, you need to grab 1-2 cm of soil. After cutting the bushes, you need to sprinkle the bed with rotted manure.
In the spring, gorgeous bushes will grow from dormant buds, which will produce a sea of berries the following year.
If you carry out this procedure every four years, you may not need to replant strawberries at all.
