Why are there so many slugs in the garden?
Slugs are attracted to acidic soil and lots of debris to hide under.
The first thing you need to do is do a general cleaning of the area. Don't forget to remove fallen fruit and leaves.
In November, it is necessary to dig up the soil without breaking up the clods so that the slugs freeze out in the winter.
To deoxidize the soil, use lime or wood ash. You can also buy special preparations for fighting slugs in a garden store (Groza, Slizneed).
