Indoor flowers sometimes dry up faster than their owners remember. And such a nuisance can also happen if the plant is left unattended during the vacation.

In some cases, flowers can still be saved. Here's what to do.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told how to save a dried plant.

First, you need to check how dry the soil is.

To do this, it is enough to scrape off the soil to a depth of 2-3 centimeters. If the soil is completely dry, then water the flower until water flows through the drainage holes.

Secondly, you need to remove the dried parts.

All dead shoots and branches are removed, which will allow the plant to direct its energy towards recovery.

In addition, this technique will protect against the spread of diseases and pests.

Thirdly, the flower needs light.

If you want the plant to come back to life, you need to provide it with at least eight hours of light per day. Sometimes it is enough to move the flower, sometimes you need to turn on the lamp.

Fourth, apply fertilizers

It is better to use aqueous solutions, but it is important to calculate the dosage and adhere to the feeding schedule.

And the last thing left to do is to spray the plant with water or otherwise humidify the air.
