Which one exactly? Experienced gardeners claim that it is common table salt that gives beets their sweetness.
The main thing is to act with the utmost care, as it is easy to overdo it with this component.
A tablespoon of salt is enough for a bucket of water. Although there are usually no problems with dissolving the white crystals, you can stir the salt in a liter jar of water in advance and then pour the resulting concentrate into the bucket.
Once the salt solution is ready, water the beet beds with it.
This procedure can be carried out twice a season, when the root crops begin to round out, and a month before harvesting.
