Do this with carrots during the period of growing tops: a gardener's secret

In the middle of the growing season, carrots require irrigation, fertilizing and loosening of the soil.

If you don’t do just one thing, it will affect the yield and worsen the quality of the root crops.

Let's take a closer look at these three operations to increase carrot yield.

First of all, let's think about proper watering. In most cases, watering should be done 10 times in 10 days. But if the heat is too strong, then daily watering may be required.

Next, we proceed to the second root feeding. Carrots need nitrogen. You also need to add phosphorus and potassium. Take a fertilizer with these three components and dissolve 25 grams in 10 liters of water.

As for foliar feeding, you need to spray the roots with boron - 3 grams of boric acid per 10 liters of water.

Finally, we will take care of loosening the beds, which will provide the fruit with oxygen.

It is better to loosen the soil after each watering or rain so that the root crop forms straight and large.
