Cabbage is a vegetable that requires a bit of effort to grow: either the ovaries just won’t appear, or the pests can’t leave the gardener alone.

That is why every gardener should know how to help the plant in such situations.

In first place, perhaps, is protection from insects parasitizing cabbage.

To prevent pests from appearing in cabbage beds, it is worth mixing dry mustard and grated wood ash in equal volumes.

Pour 2 teaspoons of the resulting mixture into each hole prepared for the cabbage seedling, then pour hot water with potassium permanganate into the holes and wait until the soil cools down, and then you can start planting the seedlings.

A week after the procedure, do not forget to mulch the plantings with humus.

Watering is also important; it should be done every day for the first four days, after which it can be reduced to once every three days.

After 15 days, you can add fertilizer - a urea solution consisting of 10 liters of water and a tablespoon of urea. One plant needs 300 ml of such fertilizer.

After another 15 days, it is time for superphosphate, for the preparation of which you need 10 liters of water and 2 tablespoons of superphosphate (it should be dissolved in hot water beforehand). Pour 800 ml of solution onto the bush.

Finally, after another 15 days, use mullein to feed the cabbage. Fertilize after watering.
