What is needed for a good cucumber harvest?
Every gardener should take care of disease prevention, help the crop to grow green mass, try to improve fruit set... Surprisingly, all these goals can be achieved using just one composition.
True, the mixture consists of several components at once. Among them:
- 250 ml milk;
- 200 ml of dark pink (not purple or violet) solution of potassium permanganate;
- 1.5 g boric acid;
- 60 drops of iodine (1.6 divisions of the syringe);
- 1 tablespoon of urea.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, then pour the resulting mixture into a sprayer and add water to make 10 liters.
It is better to use the resulting composition, which can rightfully be called magical, in the morning.
If the weather outside is hot and sunny, don’t be lazy and wake up early so that you can finish the treatment before 9 am.
It is important to follow this rule so that the cucumber leaves have time to dry out before the peak of solar activity - otherwise the drops will transform into lenses and cause burns.
But in windy weather or on wet leaves, you shouldn’t cultivate cucumber beds – everything you’ve done will go down the drain.
