On the one hand, the appearance of ants in a country house is good news.
Insects destroy many pests and improve the soil structure.
On the other hand, ants themselves often harm garden and vegetable crops, stopping their growth and promoting the spread of aphids.
This is why many gardeners decide to take up the fight against representatives of the Hymenoptera order.
You can protect your garden beds from insects using the most ordinary A4 sheet of paper.
First, the material must be transformed with scissors into a set of small pieces of paper.
Each of the prepared rectangles must be soaked with an anti-ant agent.
As soon as the gel-like mass is absorbed into the material, all the pieces of paper should be stuck into the anthill or into those places where uninvited “guests” appear very often.
The effect should appear after 24 hours. Most likely, the ants will simply leave their nest.
The most interesting thing is that the paper soaked in insecticide is completely suitable for reuse.
If you were unable to get rid of the pests the first time (or if there were several anthills), then the rectangles can be used a second time.
