To get a generous carrot harvest, you need to feed the plant throughout the growing season.
To do this, you need to prepare a special fertilizer.
Compound:
• saltpeter - 25 grams;
• superphosphate - 30 grams;
• water - 10 liters;
• potassium salt - 30 grams.
Dissolve all ingredients in water and apply to carrot crops.
After three weeks, do the second feeding, and after the same amount of time, the third feeding.
Fertilize the beds in the evening, and water them well beforehand.
You can feed carrots with peat and rotted manure at the rate of 1 kg per 1 square meter.
Also, carrots should be planted in a place where the sun shines well and it is well ventilated. Warm water should be used for watering.
Chemical fertilizers should be alternated with folk remedies - yeast fertilizer, whey and infusions of onion peel.
