Experienced gardeners don’t bother with buckets: they throw the valuable fertilizer straight into the watering barrel

Tomatoes and peppers are growing by leaps and bounds.

Experienced gardeners know that it is impossible to get a rich harvest without fertilizing the plants at least once during the season.

After planting seedlings, experienced gardeners focus on potassium and phosphorus, because nitrogen is no longer so important during this period. But these two macronutrients are responsible for the development of buds and strengthen the immunity of plants.

It is recommended to apply such fertilizers once every 2 weeks. For example, use potassium monophosphate, which is immediately diluted in a barrel of water for irrigation.

This saves time and helps to combine two procedures at once – watering and fertilizing. But in this case, it is important to correctly determine the dosage so as not to harm the plants.

For example, the usual rate of potassium monophosphate per 10 liters is 15 g. This volume is enough for four tomato bushes. But this fertilizer should be alternated with other means, since it cannot be used more than 2 times in a row per season.
