Some summer residents cannot boast of a solid harvest of this tasty and popular vegetable in cooking from year to year.
The peculiarity of cabbage is that it needs not only nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. The plant is in dire need of another macroelement – calcium.
In order for the cabbage to please you with a harvest, you need to feed it with a simple fertilizer. To begin with, you need to pick some weeds (nettles, celandine, dandelions, etc.).
The greens need to be covered with water, add a glass of crushed chalk, stir and leave the solution for 10-14 days.
When the liquid has fermented, water the cabbage at the root - 1 liter per plant. Before this, the soil should be moistened with ordinary water. This way the fertilizer will be better absorbed.
Repeated application can be done after 10 days, but even after the first watering the cabbage will begin to actively grow.
