As a rule, the lack of flowering of anthurium, or, as it is also called, male happiness, is associated with improper care of the plant.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what mistakes flower growers make most often.
This may include soil that is unsuitable for anthurium, damage to the plant’s root system, an overly large pot, etc.
This point includes not only a lack of sunlight, but also its excess.
For anthurium to form flower buds, the thermometer needs to rise to +22-24 degrees.
Again, the prefixes "under" and "over" are inappropriate when it comes to the flowering of male happiness. If there is not enough water, the roots, finding themselves in over-dried soil, do not receive a sufficient amount of nutrients, which leads to the withering of the above-ground part.
Conversely, due to prolonged over-moistening of the soil, the root system begins to rot, the flower gets sick and thinks only about how to survive, and not how to bloom.
Anthurium needs not only to be watered, but also sprayed and the leaves wiped. All of the above actions are aimed at increasing air humidity.
