Some housewives have violets that bloom without problems, while others only grow greenery.

To remedy the situation, you can use two cheap remedies. According to experienced flower growers, they stimulate the formation of buds.

Why don't they bloom?

There are several simple reasons why violets do not bloom:

  • incorrect landing (replanting);
  • little light;
  • too cold (hot);
  • high (low) humidity;
  • a lot (little) moisture.

If all conditions are met, then we are talking about a lack of nutrients.

You can use a complex fertilizer for violets, which contains all the necessary macro- and microelements. Alternatively, you can use folk remedies.

How to make a violet bloom

Florists use two cheap components – wood ash and iodine.

Thus, wood ash provides the violet with phosphorus and potassium, deoxidizes the soil and repels pests.

Use 1 tbsp of ash per 1 liter of water. Let the solution sit for 3 hours, then stir and water the flowers. This fertilizer is applied once every 10-14 days.

Iodine also stimulates violet flowering. 3-5 drops of iodine are diluted in 3 liters of water, and then the plants are watered at the roots, trying not to get it on the leaves.
