Irgi berries are an excellent source of iron, calcium, potassium, and also contain many flavonoids and anthocyanins, which have an anti-inflammatory effect and protect blood vessels.

A handful of fruit (100 g) contains 60% of the daily requirement of beta-carotene, which is necessary for good vision and strong immunity.

Features of cultivation

Irga is one of the long-lived plants (60-70 years).

It can withstand drought and severe frosts. For example, the plant can survive cold temperatures down to -50 °C.

If there is no place for the irgi in the sun, then it can be planted in the shade. The plant feels comfortable almost everywhere.
