Probably, many gardeners have already planted strawberries, and some have even seen shoots.

Therefore, it is high time to learn about the rules for picking this crop - according to experienced gardeners, their observance guarantees an excellent result.

1. You should not start picking earlier than a month after the shoots appear.

By the time the procedure is carried out, the seedlings should have 3-4 true leaves.

2. Make sure that the seedlings’ “heart” is not buried deep.

The place where the leaves grow should be located above the ground.

3. Be sure to make wide holes with a diameter of up to 3-4 mm in the cups in which you plan to plant the seedlings.

This operation must be done in order to water the seedlings in the tray. However, the first watering after picking should be done from above with maximum caution - this way you will be able to "connect" the root system with the soil.
