Cabbage needs the most liquid when it begins to form heads of cabbage.

Cabbage loves moisture, that's why it has such a large leaf surface, through which it both evaporates and absorbs water. But its root system is located shallowly.

Throughout the growing season, cabbage requires high humidity.

The soil layer at a depth of 60 cm should be 80% moist.

To maintain optimal soil moisture, water the cabbage every 8-10 days.

At the end of May, sow late cabbage seeds in the area, and at the end of June, plant the grown seedlings in the garden bed.

The day before planting seedlings in the garden bed, thoroughly water the seedling area.

For planting, take healthy and high-quality cabbage bushes. To ensure that the plants grow and develop well, adhere to the following planting scheme: 70 cm between rows, 45-50 cm between bushes.

The time of planting cabbage should take into account its ripening period. Late varieties have the longest ripening period, so they need to be planted much earlier than the others.

Before planting, prepare the soil, add fertilizer and level it well.

To ensure that cabbage seedlings take root well, water them before and after planting and regularly loosen the soil between the rows to a depth of 6-10 cm.
