To get a rich harvest of tomatoes or other garden crops on your garden plot, you need to follow special rules for growing them.

All gardeners love tomatoes, but it is not always possible to get and preserve a harvest of this capricious crop.

Today, many varieties of tomatoes, methods for their cultivation and protection have been developed.

However, gardeners still make the same mistakes when caring for plants.

Over-hydration

Cucumbers like excess moisture, not tomatoes. Frequent watering or rain can cause fungal infections. But when the weather is very dry, tomatoes should be watered.

Overfeeding

The plant, receiving a very large amount of useful substances, can simply "grow fat", and this means that there will be no harvest, because everything will go to the spreading tomato trees without fruits. Do not get carried away with nitrogen-based fertilizers, it is better to use mixtures that include boron, iodine, magnesium, copper and iron.

Leaf picking

It is not advisable to pick leaves from tomato bushes, as this can lead to stress, which can have a very negative effect on the subsequent harvest. But if you remove yellowed or dry leaves, this will not lead to significant changes in the health of the plant.

At the end of the growing season, you need to pinch the tops of the tomatoes so that all the nutrients go to the fruits, which will ripen quickly.

If you follow these simple recommendations, you will always have delicious tomatoes.
