It is not enough to simply buy seedlings and wait for the right moment to plant young trees or bushes.

To ensure that plants survive until planting, proper storage must be ensured.

It is enough to take into account a few nuances so that the trees and bushes quickly take root, and in the long term delight you with a luxurious harvest.

Seedlings with an open root system, which cannot be planted at the moment due to weather or other conditions, must be provided with the correct storage conditions.

After purchasing, the bushes must be carefully examined again. Any signs of rot that are noticed are treated with fungicides or cut off.

Experts advise keeping the plant's roots moist. The working roots are very thin. When they dry out, there is a high probability of death.

There are different ways to maintain humidity. For example, place the seedlings in a bucket, cover with soil and water. If the roots are wet, you can place them in a plastic bag and tie it tightly around the trunk.

Hostas, bearded irises, lilies of the valley need special care. They need to be wrapped in cling film and then placed in the refrigerator. For fruit crops, it is enough to maintain an optimal level of humidity so that the roots do not dry out.
