Chlorophytum is one of the most unpretentious indoor plants, but even it can lose its decorative qualities.

Withering and blackening leaves are a consequence of improper care. It is very easy to fix the problem.

Chlorophytum cleans the air well and is a kind of mini-farm for producing oxygen. This plant is often recommended for the bedroom, children's room or kitchen.

Conditions of detention

To prevent the flower from looking dull and losing its foliage, you need to follow a simple rule. Chlorophytum needs a lot of light. The plant must be watered with warm, settled water.

Cold tap water can cause undesirable consequences, including blackening of the foliage.

Natural cause

If the conditions are met, but the flower still looks bad, then the matter is different. In this case, there is no need to save the chlorophytum. Leaves drying from the tips are a sign of their replacement. The old greenery will fall off, and new ones will soon grow.
