Many summer residents, especially beginners, dream of growing as many different vegetables and fruits as possible on their plot.

The territory is limited, so you need to plan your garden and vegetable garden wisely. Even on six hundred square meters you can do quite well.

Trying to use every inch of land, summer residents plant plants even under trees. But experienced gardeners say that this is not the best idea.

It is especially not worth planting anything under coniferous trees, because it is unlikely that anything will take root there. The problem with such a neighborhood is competition for light, water, and food.

How to arrange plants

It all starts with a competent division of the site into zones. For example, the first site is allocated for a small forest with low-growing coniferous trees and their natural groundcover companions.

Many gardeners recommend the Canadian conical spruce, a neat plant that grows up to 2 m in height.

The next area is the garden. There you can plant several columnar apple trees, under which a lawn will spread out, pleasing to the eye.

The third zone is a hedge of thujas. You can allocate an area on the border of the plot for them.

Flowers, vegetables and berries are the fourth zone, which is not disturbed by the other three mini-plots. In this way, you can divide any dacha territory, where various plants will coexist harmoniously.
