Such a common vegetable as cabbage can be found, perhaps, in every summer cottage.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh notes that in order to get a decent harvest of white cabbage, it is necessary to provide it with appropriate care.

Since the main reason for poor ovaries, and sometimes their absence, is a lack of fertilizer, it is necessary to properly fertilize the cabbage beds.

Experienced gardeners prefer to use folk recipes for this purpose.

For example, an effective fertilizer can be prepared from manure. To do this, 1 kg of cow dung should be infused in 5 liters of water. This fertilizer should be used for the first time about a couple of weeks after planting cabbage in the ground.

When you notice the first ovaries, add ash, and 3 weeks after the first feeding, repeat watering with manure.

An iodine solution prepared from 10 liters of water and 40 drops of iodine will also help cabbage form ovaries. About a liter of this mixture will be needed for 1 bush.

Don't forget about boric acid. First, dissolve 2 g of boron in a small amount of water, then add water to make up to 10 liters. The preparation is used for spraying.
