If you don't want the zucchini you planted to die, you should follow certain watering rules.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about the scheme that should be followed in this process.
If the crop was planted with seeds, it is worth moistening the beds once every 2 weeks.
When planting from seedlings, the first watering is done after 3 days, and then the bushes are watered 2 times a week. One plant requires 2-3 liters of water.
After you notice the first buds, the frequency of watering should be increased to 2 times a week.
The volume of liquid also increases – now it should reach 5 liters of water under each bush.
During the period when the ovaries are forming, it is enough to water once every 5-6 days, however, the reduction does not apply to the amount of water - it should increase to 10 liters.
This scheme is suitable for normal weather conditions. If there is a drought outside, you will have to visit the beds with a watering can more often, but during prolonged rains, watering, on the contrary, should be stopped.
