It is for this reason that you should be especially careful when choosing the place where the bush will be placed - sandy soil, as well as lowlands where water stagnates, are not suitable for it.
In addition, honeysuckle prefers to have its roots covered, so do not forget to cover the trunk circle with mulch.
This simple action will prevent the roots from overheating and will also retain the moisture that the plant loves so much.
You can see a profusely blooming honeysuckle bush, which means you can expect a good harvest, only in open, sun-drenched areas.
It is worth remembering that you will not be able to wait for berries if the honeysuckle grows alone.
Honeysuckle of the pollinator variety should be planted no more than 2-3 meters away from the bush, and it is better to plant 2-3 bushes rather than just one.
