What happened to the dollar after the big weekend in Belarus: results of currency trading on November 11

The first trades after the long weekend (November 7-10) took place on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The result was a strengthening of the American currency by almost 0.3 percent.

The Russian ruble won a much less convincing victory today.

And the Chinese yuan suffered a serious defeat.

As a result of the trading that took place on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on November 11, the rates of the main currencies stopped at the following levels:

  • dollar - 3.3407 BYN;
  • 100 Russian rubles - 3.42 BYN;
  • 10 Chinese yuan - 4.6702 BYN.

The euro exchange rate has not changed since November 5: 3 Belarusian rubles 64.35 kopecks for 1 EUR.

How have exchange rates changed?

The dollar had a misfire before the big weekend. Today the "American" returned to growth, adding 0.0095 points, or 0.29 percent.

The Russian ruble has become more expensive by only one hundredth of a percent, but continued to demonstrate an upward trend.

But the yuan lost 0.58 percent at the end of today's trading. Recall that last Wednesday, the Chinese currency also suffered a serious defeat.
