The dollar situation has changed in Belarus: here's what happened to the "American" before the weekend

On Friday, December 20, the dollar unexpectedly fell in price in our country.
The defeat turned out to be quite serious for the US currency: minus 0.73 percent.
The exchange rate of the single European currency fell even more sharply: minus 1.79 percent.
The end of another currency week was also unsuccessful for the yuan.
This is evidenced by the information presented on the official website of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
Trading results on December 20
Before the weekend, the following exchange rates were established in Belarus:
- dollar - 3.4468 BYN;
- euro - 3.58 BYN;
- 100 Russian rubles - 3.3875 BYN;
- 10 Chinese yuan - 4.7622 BYN.
Changes in exchange rates
The dollar failed to end the currency week on a positive note.
The American currency, which strengthened on December 18 and 19, suffered a defeat today. The loss amounted to 0.0252 points.
The euro, which has been unable to return to growth since December 13, lost another 0.0651 points.
The Russian ruble, which has been winning in Belarus since the end of last week, added another 0.22 percent today.
The yuan failed to achieve a fourth consecutive victory over the Belarusian ruble.
On Friday, China's currency "lost weight" by 0.62 percent.
