The start of the new week turned out to be extremely unsuccessful for the single European currency.
The EU's main currency suffered its biggest defeat since September 6.
Today, October 14, the “European” has fallen in price against the Belarusian ruble by almost one percent.
But the dollar began another currency week by returning to the upward trend.
On Monday, the rates of the main currencies stopped at the following levels on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange:
The dollar, which suffered a major setback at the end of last currency week, managed to partially recoup its losses.
The American currency “gained” 0.0065 points, or 0.2 percent.
The euro fell sharply for the second time in a row, losing 0.0333 points, or 0.92 percent, today.
The Russian ruble lost only one hundredth of a percent today. But this misfire did not allow the Russian currency to continue the upward trend that started on Friday.
The yuan exchange rate also changed slightly (by 0.01 percent), but in an upward direction.
