There are many varieties of oatmeal diets. The strictest of them involves eating only oatmeal and excluding any other products from the diet.

Simplified types of such a diet suggest eating porridge that is prepared without adding milk and butter, as these substances slow down the work of the stomach. Sugar and salt should be excluded from the diet, and it is also not recommended to eat grapes, potatoes, bananas and persimmons.

In addition to oatmeal, you can allow yourself to eat berries, dried fruits, vegetables, honey, fruits and nuts, and also drink low-fat kefir.

One of the important points is drinking enough liquid - up to 2 liters of plain clean water or green tea per day. Moreover, you can drink only before meals, and not earlier than half an hour after.

Before the oatmeal diet, it is recommended to cleanse the intestines with rice. In the evening, 4 tablespoons of rice are soaked in 1 liter of water and left overnight. In the morning, the rice will need to be put to cook on low heat.

After about an hour, a liquid resembling jelly will form. You need to drink it and then not drink or eat for five hours.

After this time, you can eat as usual, but 5 hours before going to bed, you do not need to eat again, and you can only drink water. At the same time, on the day of cleansing, you can eat almost any food except sweet, floury and fatty foods.

As a result of the diet, you can lose 3-5 kilograms of weight in seven days. The diet should not last more than four weeks, since the body's condition can be negatively affected by the fact that it does not receive animal proteins.
