It has long been known to everyone that breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day and should not be skipped.
However, according to nutritionist Evgenia Fisunova, not every breakfast can be called healthy.
If you choose the wrong dishes, you can pay for it with excess weight, digestive problems and other serious problems.
Anyone who would like to avoid such troubles should avoid foods that contain a lot of sugar: instant cereals, muesli, sweet yogurts, etc.
They should be replaced with much healthier, long-cooking cereals and natural yogurt without additives.
If you have an unbearable craving for something sweet in the morning, try adding honey or dried fruit to your usual breakfast.
Sugar-free jam is also an excellent option.
But you should avoid ready-made baked goods bought at the nearest supermarket – it’s better to bake a cake or cookies yourself.
This is the only way you can be sure that the dessert contains only high-quality products.
In addition, try to have breakfast without drinking acidic juices, such as orange or grapefruit, as they can cause heartburn if consumed on an empty stomach.
An excellent option for the first meal is protein food: an omelet, to which you can add cheese, mushrooms or spinach, as well as dishes prepared with cottage cheese: cheesecakes and all kinds of casseroles.
