In men's circles, you can often hear a joke that their belly is not from beer, but for beer. But unlike a sense of humor, a "beer belly" does not make people look good.
However, most people are used to the idea that dieting is a woman's business. And a man can live his life without deprivation. This is not true at all, and sometimes you have to make decisions.
In an interview with NEWS.ru, Alexandra Sulim, associate professor of the Department of Sports Disciplines at the State University of Education and fitness trainer, spoke about whether it is possible to quickly get rid of a “beer belly”.
1. You need to start by reviewing your diet and first of all, reduce to a minimum the amount of salt, sugar, baked goods made from white flour and saturated fats.
2. At the same time, you need to increase physical activity.
3. The new diet should consist of vegetables and greens, unsweetened fruits, berries, whole grains, white meat and fish, and fermented milk products.
4. The expert recommends steaming or baking food in the oven.
5. It is recommended to plan 4 to 6 meals per day and completely avoid snacks.
6. Physical exercises that help with a “beer belly” include burpees, crunches, planks, squats with and without weights, and lunges.
Recommended sports activities include swimming, running, and exercise machines.
You can get rid of a "beer belly" with liposuction and other procedures, but the expert recommends giving preference to exercise and diet.
